APRA Silver Scroll Awards
The APRA Silver Scroll Awards | Kaitito Kaiaka celebrate New Zealand’s songwriters and composers. Lewis Eady National Junior Piano Contest
The Lewis Eady National Junior Piano Competition gives New Zealand pre-tertiary pianists the opportunity to showcase their talents and compete at a national level. The LENJPC Competition is part of the Lewis Eady International Piano Festival, presenting recitals from international concert pianists, piano masterclasses and workshops.

Lewis Eady National Piano Competition
Since 2013, the biennial Lewis Eady National Piano Competition has inspired, surprised, and delighted music enthusiasts, and has successfully launched the careers of many Kiwi artists. The National String Competition, presented by the Hill FaLENPCmily Foundation for Art and Music (formerly the Michael Hill International Violin Competition) knows a thing or two about competitions.

The Pacific Music Awards is the annual awards event, which celebrates Pacific music. The event provides the opportunity to honour the achievements and success of our current Pacific artists and also pay tribute to legacy and developing artists. New Zealand's nationwide, live, original music, youth event giving young musicians the opportunity to perform live in a professional setting, in venues from Northland to Southland. Taite Music Prize
Named after the late Dylan Taite, one of the country’s most highly respected music journalists, The Taite Music Prize‘s purpose is to recognise outstanding creativity for an entire collection of music contained on one album. Tangata Beats
Smokefree Tangata Beats is a live, original music, nationwide, youth event that recognises and reflects the unique cultural identity of Aotearoa New Zealand and the South Pacific. The event started in 1994 as the Urban Beats Award within Smokefreerockquest. The event has steadily built over the years into a competition in its own right, and was originally called Smokefree Pacifica Beats.
